Vinyasa Flow Yoga

A strong, but accessible and fun class

About Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Vinyasa Flow Yoga is also known as Flow Yoga. This style of yoga is characterised by flow and the stringing together of postures so that you move seamlessly from one to another, using breath.

Vinyasa simply means to move with the breath, meaning less time will be spent in a stationary pose. Flow classes offer a variety of postures, with no set sequence or number of poses. Therefore, no two classes are ever the same.

These sessions aim to be strong with some element of challenge, but are accessible and enjoyable for all. Flow yoga is one of the most popular contemporary styles of yoga.

Benefits of Vinyasa Flow Yoga

Why practice Vinyasa Flow Yoga with us?

Vinyasa Flow Yoga places an emphasis on exploring the balance of strength and softness.

Improves flexibility & range

A Flow class works the whole body due to the variety of movements incorporated throughout a class. You will notice an improvement in your range of motion if you stick to regular practice.

Strengthens your body

The poses in Flow yoga can improve your balance significantly, as well as help with leg strength and muscle control. Vinyasa flow will work all parts of the body and with regular practice increased functional strength will develop.

Connecting with the breath

The breath is a powerful tool when it comes to our well-being. By allowing our energy to flow, this will give us the skills and tools to push through any emotional and physical blockages.

Connecting with the breath

The heat allows you to safely stretch a little further and achieve a greater range of motion.

Cardiovascular health

A Vinyasa class is often fast paces making for a great cardiovascular exercise class. Moving with the breath increases your heart rate.
