About Barre
In the space of one hour we work every major muscle in the body to upbeat energising music. Barre takes the best bits of Ballet, Pilates and Yoga and mashes them all together to give us an energising workout.
You do not need to have any ballet experience. A large part of the class will take place at the barre but the barre is just there really to help us with balance as lot of the class takes place on one foot.
Barre will reshape and sculpt your body. This class will comprise of hand weights, mat work and the barre to tone and shape your body. Come and give Barre in Kettering a try for yourself at the Ironstone Wellbeing Centre!

Increased body strength
Barre is a whole-body workout which works every major muscle in the body during the one-hour session. Regular practice will certainly challenge and strengthen your body.

Barre focuses heavily on balance. In order to balance with good posture and alignment we need to engage our core to do so. This class will certainly help tone our tummies!
Stronger glutes
Of course we all want to have a toned and lifted booty, but stronger glutes also mean a strong and stable pelvis, alleviating pressure on the back, hips and knees.

What to bring to your class
We will provide hand weights, resistance bands and Pilates balls. Many clients bring their own mat, but we do have mats available to borrow if required.
