Benefits of Hot Pilates
Why practice Hot Pilates with us?
These hour or 45 minute classes are high intensity, low impact, and offer a full body workout focusing on traditional Pilates principles practised in 37 degree heat.
Improves flexibility
The heat allows you to stretch a little further and achieve a greater range of motion. Stretching after you warm up your muscles is safer than stretching cold muscles.
Strengthens your body
While Pilates focuses on the core strength it is in fact a whole-body workout. Pilates is also very popular for those needed to rehab for this exact reason.
Improves posture
Good posture and alignment is a result of a strong core. Regular practice can improve posture. For this exact reason it is said to help people who suffer with back pain.
Burns more calories
Turning up the heat raises your heart rate and increases the intensity of the session, helping you burn more calories and work harder in the same amount of time.
